Procurement
When, how, and what you procure can significantly impact your school's device management, warranty coverage, and long-term financial sustainability. At Winthrop Australia, we work with hundreds of Business Managers and school leaders to evaluate and design the most effective procurement strategy for their environment.
Our team helps schools explore the best possible financial solution by considering:
- ·Leasing and finance options
- ·Buy-back and residual value programs
- ·Capital investment planning
- ·Device lifecycle and rollover strategies (typically 24–36 months)
- ·Total cost of ownership across the life of the program
By aligning these elements together, we help schools build sustainable technology programs that maximise value while reducing costs for both schools and families.
Whether you are refreshing an existing fleet or planning a new rollout, our Education Sales Consultants can help you compare options, model costs, and secure the most affordable pricing for your school.

Residual Value
When evaluating devices for education institutions, upfront cost is only one of many factors to consider. Long-term residual value can have a major impact on overall financial investment and should play an important role in budget planning.
