9. Payment

Payment is processed at the time of purchase through the payment methods made available on the Portal. All payments are taken in AUD. The name “Winthrop Australia” may appear on your credit card or bank statement.

A surcharge of 1.1% applies to credit card payments and will be added to the total cost at checkout.

10. Delivery and pickup

We offer delivery and, where available, pickup options through participating schools or locations. Delivery and pickup options will be displayed at checkout.

Delivery is typically made by secure post or courier service. Items ship directly from our suppliers and are generally not available to be collected from Winthrop Australia. Items and accessories may arrive in separate deliveries.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on stock availability and your location. Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery or pickup.

11. Returns and refunds

If you are not satisfied with your online purchase, you may return it within seven (7) days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price, less any postage charges, provided that:

  • The goods are new, unopened and in the condition in which they were received
  • You contact our returns centre before returning the item to obtain a return code, which must be attached to the product
  • The returned goods are received by us within seven (7) days of you receiving your delivery

You should expect to receive your refund within approximately four (4) weeks of providing your return to us. This timeframe includes:

  • Transit time for us to receive your return (up to 5 business days)
  • Processing time once we receive it (up to 5 business days)
  • Bank processing time for the refund (up to 5 business days)

In many cases, refunds are processed more quickly. We will notify you by email once your return has been received and processed.

12. Faulty or incorrect goods

If a product is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the issue, we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
